in the hot summer of 1997 the etoy.CREW was invited by curator suzy meszoly for a one-month residency at the c3 center in budapest / hungary.
for the first time in the etoy.HISTORY all etoy.AGENTS and etoy.BOARD-MEMEBERS gathered in the same city for 20 days. in budapest, etoy basically prepared a new version of the hybrid product/performance "protected by etoy" and the u.s.a. invasion by the etoy.AGENTS etoy.CARL, etoy.DAVE, etoy.MARK and etoy.MATT.
part of this invasion was the invention of the etoy.CARGO-TANKS also developed during the etoy.BUDAPEST-RESIDENCY.
